The bacteria in each fermentation, are concentrated via centrifugation and freeze drying to produce a free-flowing, off-white powder containing a minimum of 10¹¹ cfu/g.
The product can be bulk packed, e.g. 25kg bags, or combined with excipient(s) and packed in foil laminate sachets in our modern form fill seal machine within a cleanroom that is controlled to US Federal Standards. Lactic Acid Bacteria produced by Microbial Developments Ltd. are currently used to manufacture silage additives and probiotics.
